Hindi Interlinear Reader is free and supported by one banner ad. It has no accounts. Your reading progress, saved words, quiz scores and settings are stored on your device. We do not add a separate reader analytics service; Google's advertising software has its own data practices, described below.

Reading, words and audio

Books, pictures, word meanings, pronunciation lines and translations are included in the app. Your settings, reading position and saved words are stored on your device and are not automatically sent to us. The speaker in the word panel uses the Hindi voice built into your device. The app does not include your book text or saved words in advertising requests.

The app uses one Google AdMob banner when an ad is available. It requests limited ads, asks Google for restricted data processing, and turns off publisher first-party ID and ad personalization. These settings restrict the request; Google's software may still process IP addresses and approximate location, advertising and interaction data, diagnostics and performance information. Google's general SDK disclosure also lists device identifiers. The app does not display Apple's tracking permission request. Your choices

At launch, Google's consent tool checks whether privacy choices are required. It presents a form when required and offers More, Privacy choices when its privacy-options setting applies. An ad can load only after the tool permits requests. If consent information cannot be obtained, reading remains available. More, Report an ad opens a mail draft that you control, or provides our support address when mail is unavailable. Send a description if you want us to review an inappropriate ad.

Children

The app is made for people learning Hindi. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

What we receive

The reader does not automatically send us your saved words, reading activity, scores or settings. We may receive advertising reports through Google. If you email support, we receive your address and the content you choose to send, and use them to answer your request or review your ad report. Apple may process downloads and device backups under Apple's Privacy Policy.
